Book a Power Flush To Restore Peak Performance
If you’ve noticed that your central heating system doesn’t seem to be performing like it used to, you might be on to something!
Your central heating system is largely a closed system with the same water in constant circulation and over time sludge, rust, particles and other debris start to accumulate. Whether it’s a particular bend in the pipes, a low spot in a radiator or other choke point, this debris builds up and eventually makes it hard for your central heating system to efficiently pump hot water round the full circuit.
This makes your system work harder than it needs to and causes it be far less efficient. Your home will heat up slower, less evenly and will cost you more. There’s also the chance of more system breakdowns thanks to the increased workload on the pump and other systems.
A simple powerflush however, in many circumstances can be all it takes to clan out the debris and blockages, restoring your central heating system to peak efficiency.
What is a Central Heating Power Flush?
As the name implies, a central heating power flush is essentially a high powered jetwash for your entire central heating system. We’ll set up a pumping station and force clean water through the pipes of your entire heating system, washing away dirty water, sludge and particulate build up. Depending on the severity of the build up, it may be necessary to deal with indiviual sections of your circuit and individual radiators in isolation.
Following the powerflush, the PH balance of the cleansed and refill system will be checked as well as fluids added to inhibit future build ups or debris and keep your system working at peak efficiency for longer.
The process of powerflushing will take a number of hours, but the end result is a cleaner, more efficient central heating system and far less chance of breakdowns, so a powerflush is a worthwhile investment which should save you money in the long run.
